Circle of Runes

Runes are more than an ancient alphabet, more than a magical system of symbols. These strangely familiar markings create a direct connection with the living spirit of each rune and each symbol hangs suspended in space, is multi-dimensional and holds an entire body of wisdom and knowledge that waits to be recognized and revealed.
These spirits are deeply connected to nature, the earth and the cycles and seasons of life. They are elemental.
Runes formed a living part of the spiritual lives and practices of the indigenous peoples of Europe and the British Isles at a time before the coming monotheism of Christianity.
Runes are part of the Folk Soul and ancestral memory of a large majority of people living in the Western world, those who have ancestry from Europe and the British Isles.
Rune wisdom provides a much needed balance for New Age spirituality with its intense focus and emphasis on the mind and enlightenment and higher consciousness.
The runes remind us that without a root and without the dark places where the roots grow we are out of balance, not truly alive.

The runes chose me many years ago and blessed me with the ability to speak their wisdom. Through them I connect, on a shamanic and intuitive level, with the gods of my ancestors. It is a gift I honor, value and use with the utmost respect. Since being chosen I have dedicated myself to unlocking their secrets and sharing that wisdom with others through teaching, speaking and intuitive readings.
I was told by the runes that they were to be tattooed on my body. I wear them proudly and humbly, a visible marking of myself as a rune woman.

When I work with them I speak, as best as I can, with the voice of the ancestors and the almost forgotten gods and goddesses of the North. Often during a reading I will speak to you in stories, using word images, gently guiding you back into yourself where you can connect with and gather the knowledge and wisdom you hold within you.

Runes are not a parlor game or something to be played with on the computer. They are not for amusement nor should they ever be approached lightly or for fun. My readings take you down to the root of a matter and often what I say can be difficult to hear and even at times, confusing. However, I am only the messenger. What I say holds a certain vibrational quality that will resonate deep inside you, reminding you of what you already know. Whether you like what you hear, depends upon you.
You will be affected by the runes, no matter what. How greatly you allow them to affect you depends upon your own willingness to listen and participate with what they have to tell you.
